Driving Examiners Begin A 48 Hour Strike In December 2017
On the day that the new driving test comes into force, the driving examiners go on a 48 hour strike.
The examiners claim that they need to work longer hours for exactly the same pay.
As we know the new driving test saw many changes including the use of sat-navs.
Those changes are not the issue but it seems that maybe the examiners have to work that little longer.
Obviously, because of the strike, there will be disruption to some pupils taking tests on these days.

I think a lot of driving tests were taken on those two days though.
If the driving examiners think they are being exploited, then I hope they get this sorted soon.

Well, the driving examiners have the right to strike just like any other industry.
Good luck to them.

Stay safe everyone!
