The man suffered various injuries including fractured ribs, injuries to kidneys, fractures to the shoulder and hip/thigh bones but did have some injury to the brain as well.
So now you know!
Its not actually that bad to watch but if you are put off by these things, please don't watch the video

The car was obviously out of control as I don't think it was deliberate.

Very nasty incident.
Purely down to the driver of course but I don't think I would hang around a race track like that.
You need to keep your eye on the ball.
