Spam emails From DVSA - Don't Open Them
Some people have reported that they have been getting fixed penalty notices with a receipt asking people to pay up.
The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has issued advice to people who may get one of these demands.
They say do not open them as they will never send one.
Also if you open them by mistake you can report it to the police as fraud.
Do not click any links within spam emails as that could infect your PC with a virus.
The fraudsters who are doing this are being sought by the police - do not pay!

You need to get a decent email service with good spam filters built in.
When they go in your spam filters just delete the lot.
Don't open them and don't click "unsubscribe" either.
The reason why you don't open them is because those spammers who send them know that you opened yours.
This means they will know its in use and you will get more spam.

People really need to understand emails.
Some open just about everything and even click the links.
I had a mate email me with a simple link.
I phoned my mate up and he checked his account out.
It had been hacked.
Be careful with all emails.

Have a few email addresses - use the main one for friends and totally reliable businesses who will not pass your info on to third parties.
Be careful when filling in online forms and make sure you don't subscribe to anything

Some people still fall for the Nigerian scams
I can see a few falling for this.

I remember the Nigerian emails well enough.
The Nigerian prince and all that.
Give your bank details and they will come and meet you to give you millions
That's why you shouldn't deal with Nigerians on the internet.
Some people set up as girls asking for money too.
I know of one desperate lad in his fifties who has given money this way despite being told that he will never see her.
The fact is it will be a man with a stock of scantily clad women pretending to be a desperate woman.
