Flashing Cycle Lights

What is it with people who ride bikes with very bright flashing lights.
These lights can be like lasers and really blinding as you approach them.
I always thought that flashing lights were illegal if attached to the bike but apparently not now.
They are so annoying.

Flashing front lights on a bike are legal as long as they flash within certain constraints.
I agree that some are blinding though.

I agree, they can be far too bright.
They are enough to cause a migraine.

I am glad someone highlighted these flashing lights.
I thought it was illegal as well but it appears not.
Some do blind you :naughty:

They are enough to start a migraine in some people.
I look away from these powerful bike lights.
The powerful ones should be banned.

They are also distracting when they are behind you as well!
They are too powerful

I have seen some of these flashing cycle lamps and must admit they can actually be blinding.
I don't think they are regulated rigidly like other things.

They are pretty strong and can be a sort of distraction.
I don't like flashing cycle lights.

I agree that some cycle lights are blinding and while they are flashing in this manner they can affect those who suffer from epilepsy etc.
They can get seizures.
Then there are those suffering from optical migraines who are affected.
