Stay within the speed limit - UK fines to increase

It is not only dangerous to drive above the speed limit but now you will be hit in the pocket harder if you do so.
From April 2017 fines will increase by up to 50% in the most serious cases.
The authorities intend to hit you in the pocket for driving over the speed limit.
Up to then you can be fined 100% of your weekly income but the courts will be able to increase that to 150%.

Crime is falling, now pick on the motorist, it makes sense to increase the revenue of a greedy government.
