No such thing as a priority parking space for the Mayor

Ash White, age 22, has received six parking tickets for parking in a space designed especially for the Mayor of Cheltenham, Gloucester, UK.
Each time he has won the appeal on technicalities.
Ash, who owns a fashion company boss has refused to stop parking his £250,000 Lamborghini in the Mayor's 'space'.
Parking law expert Nigel Wise who helped Mr White with his first tickets has said 'there is no such thing as a priority space for the mayor. They are just putting up restrictions willy-nilly.'

However, Gloucestershire County Council's parking bosses said Mr Wise was behind the times and that parking legislation had been updated.
So, what exactly is the score here?

Interesting article, so the council lost and have spat their dummies out and campaigned to change the rules.
Well done to all the councils in the UK, you have just shown how trivial you can really get.

Who do these council people think they are.
We provide money for the roads so they belong to all of us, surely!
