Pastafarian Appeals Against DVLA Decision

Pastafarian Appeals Against DVLA Decision

Ian Harris, aged 51, who is a musician, is appealing against the DVLA's decision that will not let him wear his religious headgear.
Mr. Harris is a member of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
This religion means they wear a colander on their heads.
However, the DVLA has said he must have a photo without it on his head.
Mr. Harris is stating that Muslims and Jews as well as other religions are allowed to wear their headgear.
He goes on to say that the DVLA would be discriminating against both him and his religion.
People in America, Canada and Austria as well as other countries are allowed to have their photo on their licence with a colander on.
