Vauxhall Zafira - Possible Recall on Safety Grounds

Vauxhall are looking into why 130 Vauxhall Zafira cars have burst into flames.
The problem could be from the area behind the glove box which appears to overheat.
They may get in touch with you so make sure your Zafira is registered at your home address.
You need not wait for them if you have experienced any problem with the heating especially around the dashboard - get it seen to now!
Some Zafiras have caught fire with kids on board.

Ring them and ask what they are doing now.
The Vauxhall Zafira has seven seats and kids sit in the back - its a death trap waiting to happen in the event of an accident never mind about spontaneous fires.

The Vauxhall Zafira is a good car.
Its a good workhorse and they do have a 100,000 mile lifetime warranty so that's nothing to be laughed at.
I hope they sort the problem out for the current owners.

I wish I could afford a Vauxhall Zafira, I am sure they are good cars in general.
A bit of bad publicity and it can hurt companies.
I think Vauxhall will sort the problem and so they should - quickly.
